Chanel Vintage Jumbo Maxi XL Flap Bag

Black Quilted Lambskin Leather, 24kt Plated Gold Hardware 

Maxi, which is the largest classic flap Chanel have done :

34 cm x 24 cm x 12 cm

This vintage version is incredibly popular with celebrities.

The bag comes with its original dust bag. The box is from a modern bag.

The bag will be sent to eBays independent authenticators. I'd also advise asking for information from trusted sources, like Gary Gallagher at Leather Surgeons (who are Chanel's official repair partner in America), and also on Purse Forum. The bag has an authentic confirmation email from Michele at Etinceler Authenications (of Purse Forum, now retired). There is no question as to its authenticity.

Condition

General - This is a vintage bag and as such, has signs of wear throughout - marks scratches and scuffs. I've tried to describe as best I can below, but please see the photographs, and ask for more should there be a particular area or aspect you'd like to see more of. I also accept returns for any reason.

The bag was sent to The Handbag Clinic for a full spa package. As such, it is in a ready to wear state.

Of note, there is a scratch to the leather internally, to the left of the turn lock. Please see the photo - this is not as obvious in real life, and is underneath the flap when worn. There are marks and signs of wear to the interior leather. The serial number has detached, sticky residue remains so the location can be observed. Minor musky smell - the bag has been carefully stored, with silica gel pouches inside.

Within the UK I always pay the outbound postage, in the event of a return, I ask that the return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.
